We're specialists in Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs). Our qualified, licensed Insolvency Practitioners (IPs) are supported by highly trained staff, dedicated to helping you all the way through your IVA.
Meet the team
At Freeman Jones, you get much more than a faceless individual processing your IVA. We believe that a friendly, personal service from a dedicated team makes your IVA more likely to succeed. If you fail to uphold your side of the arrangement, you could be at risk of bankruptcy, so this is a vital part of our service - and it's designed to make the whole thing a lot simpler.
Your IVA Advisor is there to make sure your IVA is set up accurately and successfully. Our advisors will support you through the process of setting up your IVA and will liaise with your creditors on your behalf. They'll also answer any questions you may have, making sure you understand exactly what you need to do to make your IVA a success.
Insolvency Practitioner (IP)
Your Insolvency Practitioner is the person responsible for the legal side of your IVA. In other words, they'll make sure your IVA looks after the best interests of you and your lenders, from start to finish.
Our IPs are all members of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (known as R3). They're licensed by either:
- The Insolvency Service (part of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills), or
- The Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA).
Our own dedicated Relationship Managers are there to answer your questions, give advice, provide a helping hand and complete regular reviews of the IVA, helping to ensure it runs smoothly all the way through.
We comply with the DEMSA Code of Conduct, which is there 'to encourage debt management companies to provide services of the highest standards in which the public and the credit industry can have confidence, and to provide a high level of protection to the consumer'.
